Dev: Claude Desktop App Is Far Smoother Than Codex, Despite Anthropic's Slow Client

Developer krzyzanowskim says the Claude Desktop app is clearly better than Codex Desktop today — switching between them is "day and night." He also mocks that Anthropic, despite Claude Code's top coding benchmarks, ships possibly the slowest web-based Mac app he uses, quipping that maybe they do use it internally and that's all it can do.
