Cap pays GitHub sponsors for perf PRs: 452 merged, $1,275 to 18 devs

Open-source screen recorder Cap offers GitHub Sponsorships to anyone who lands a benchmarked performance improvement in its GPUI desktop app (recording, export, or playback engines). So far: 452 PRs merged, 18 people sponsored, $1,275 paid out — and the offer still stands. A cheap, clever way to crowdsource open-source contributions.
