Claude Code engineer trq212 leaves Anthropic after scaling it beyond expectations
Teknium · x · 2026-10-24
trq212, who spent over a year building Claude Code at Anthropic and saw it scale larger than he imagined, has left the company. He says he loved working at Anthropic and deeply believes in its mission, especially the idea of a 'race to the top' — working hard and responsibly to raise the bar and inspire others. Teknium (Nous Research founder) amplified the departure. Another notable exit from a flagship AI product team.
