Mapping Economic Theory With Agentic AI: LLM Agents Turn Theory Papers Into Graphs
mattbeane · x · 2026-10-24
A new project uses agentic AI to map economic theory. The idea: leverage the rapid rise in LLM math capability to make sense of formal models in economics, by using LLM agents to represent theory papers as graphs—turning unstructured academic text into analyzable structure. Matt Beane shared it as interesting and potentially helpful, suggesting the same approach be applied to theory on technology and organizing, and hoping for a public repo.
