Jensen Huang: Nvidia software licensing could add ~$20B/year at $2,000 per enterprise GPU
sudoraohacker · x · 2026-10-24
On BG2, Jensen Huang outlined two new business models atop Nvidia's hardware sales. First, software licensing: most companies lack IT teams to run Nvidia's full stack, so Nvidia would operate, secure and support it — roughly $2,000 per GPU per year; with 20M GPUs shipped annually and half going to enterprise, that's $20B/year in recurring revenue if all eligible GPUs subscribe. He framed it as simple math, not formal pricing. Second, revenue sharing with clouds that lean on Nvidia's full stack and offtake.
