Analytics startup Sundial announced its acquisition by Meta, with founders Joulee and Chandra Narayanan plus team members joining. Sundial automated data analysis (cleaning, semantic layers, SQL generation, storytelling) and served fast-growing AI companies from OpenAI to Gamma. Founded nearly six years ago, it raised its first round at near-zero rates and its Series A at two-decade-high rates, rebuilding itself as AI-native along the way.
