"Donde el agua trabaja" by Peru's David Silva Rojas won a €20,000 literary prize out of 2,204 manuscripts despite rules banning AI. Detector Pangram scanned all 25,783 words and judged 99% AI-generated, with screenshots showing extensive AI-flagged passages — reportedly the first major such case in Spanish-language literature.
