Artefact AI Film Festival opens entries: every production phase must use a generative AI tool
lmoroney · x · 2026-10-24
The Artefact AI Film Festival, run with French art-house cinema group mk2, is open for entries until December 2. Films can run up to 314 seconds and must use at least one generative AI tool in each phase — pre-production, production, and post-production — plus a production log. Intouchables directors Olivier Nakache and Éric Tolédano chair this year's jury; the Grand Prize is €10,000, with winners announced in Paris in February. The author suggests sketching all three phases' tool choices on one page before generating anything.
