Linus Torvalds used LLMs to dig up 4 kernel bugs lurking since 2013

Linus Torvalds shared how he used AI on the Linux kernel this month — not to write code, but to understand and test old code. After someone reported a bug, he used LLM tools to make sense of code he called "too obscure for me to follow," confirmed it, and found 3 more bugs in the same library dating back to its first commit in 2013, then validated them with a test harness. The post's latter half promotes TestSprite, an automated e2e testing tool.
