Happenstance + Claude connector: two prompts that turn your network into a lead list
rubenhassid · x · 2026-10-24
rubenhassid demonstrated a full workflow using Happenstance, a free "ChatGPT for finding people": upload your LinkedIn connections (optionally connect Gmail, Instagram and X, and add friends to search their networks), then add the Happenstance connector in Claude's settings.
He shares two reusable prompts: one asks Claude to find people in a friend's network in NY/SF who run PE/VC/manufacturing portfolios and need AI training, returning names with roles, mutual connections and recent posts; the second drafts a friendly message to that friend asking for intros with names and LinkedIn links. The pipeline works for lead generation and business development.
