Meta shares its internal AI agent setup that cuts a 3-4 day task to under 1 hour

A viral thread summarizes Meta's shared internal agent setup. A single all-knowing agent got confused and hallucinated, so Meta split it into two layers:
- A boss agent that does zero real work: reads requests, checks duplicates, gathers materials, runs safety checks, then routes to the right expert — 6 of its 7 steps are fixed rules, not AI guessing.
- 14 expert agents, each knowing only its own domain with no visibility into others.
How to copy it: keep the main agent a pure router; give every expert the same structure (knowledge, inputs, steps, common errors and fixes); store knowledge in separate files loaded on demand, so one update propagates to all agents; for new tasks, reorder existing steps.
