SplatLab: an autonomous AI scientist that runs 3DGS research end to end
UCSanDiego · hf · 2026-10-23
UC San Diego's SplatLab (NeurIPS 2026) is an autonomous "AI scientist" that, from a single prompt, reproduces 3D Gaussian Splatting baselines, proposes extensions, runs experiments, and writes manuscripts—with fully traceable training logs and live GPU experiment tracking. The system's proposed methods reportedly improve PSNR by up to 3.78 dB.
