Uber has rolled out ChatGPT Work, an agent platform inside ChatGPT Enterprise, to more than 30,000 employees — 30x its 1,000-person pilot — making it the company's first company-wide agentic deployment for knowledge work.
- Engineers keep Codex; ChatGPT Work targets operations, finance, marketing and product staff, supported by internal skills and training.
- The rollout lands a month after Uber cut 3,300 roles, though the company hasn't linked the two.
- Uber hasn't disclosed costs or any productivity results.
