WorkOS shows how to let AI agents safely sign up for your app with auth.md and ID-JAG
AI Engineer · youtube · 2026-10-23
WorkOS PM Isabelle Williams demonstrates how to make apps agent-ready, using a travel app she built:
- auth.md: an open file that tells agents how to get access
- Anonymous mode: agents can try the app before a human claims their work
- ID-JAG identity assertions: the agent's provider vouches for the user, skipping signup forms entirely
In a live demo, an agent signs up, plans a trip and books dinner on its own. She also shows how to give in-app agents their own scoped tokens so they can be audited, rate-limited and revoked without touching the user's access.
