Chronoberg team to present at EMNLP; corpus pitched as a lifelong-learning testbed
mundt_martin · x · 2026-10-23
Follow-up from Martin Mundt: co-authors Niharika and Paul will give the talk at EMNLP in person. Beyond the lexical-semantics analyses in the paper, the team hopes Chronoberg — 250 years of English books with temporal affective lexicons — will serve as a testbed for continual and lifelong learning, where models must track a language that never stops changing. Paper, data, and code are all publicly linked.
