Dev trains boolean-logic LM with microsecond forward passes on a single CPU thread
cephaloform · x · 2026-10-23
A developer is experimenting with a language model built from boolean logic: RL trains a "decision model" acting as a generative grammar, conditioned on which neuron it generates for, using a novel relaxation approach.
Training is extremely slow, but a forward pass takes only single-digit microseconds on a single CPU thread — a stark compute trade-off the author compares to training NeRFs, calling the idea "neural logic fields."
