Experimental boolean-logic LM: microsecond forward pass on one CPU thread, but painfully slow training
cephaloform · x · 2026-10-23
An experimenter is training an LM built from boolean logic using an alternative relaxation: RL trains a "decision model" acting as a generative grammar conditioned on the target neuron. Training is very slow, but the forward pass takes only single microseconds on a single CPU thread.
