Microsoft's official blog details MAI-DxO: 1.7x physician accuracy on ED cases
TheTuringPost · x · 2026-10-23
This post links Microsoft's official blog "Building Medical Superintelligence," part of the same MAI-DxO launch as the Turing Post thread. Official figures: MAI-DxO is 1.7x more accurate than physicians on common US emergency-department presentations (MIMIC-IV-ED), more than twice as accurate as physicians with textbook/internet access—and nearly 4x as accurate as those without—on the hardest NEJM cases, while reaching correct diagnoses at half to one-third the cost with fewer tests. The five-role orchestration and six-dimension framework are covered in the companion post.
