Orgtree v4.4 Ships 'Projects': Mailbox Queues and Concurrency Slots for Multi-Agent Collaboration
DynaBeast · reddit · 2026-10-23
Developer Maurdekye released Orgtree v4.4, adding 'Projects' — structural nodes that let agents self-organize with a shared charter and AGENTS.md scratch directory. Projects borrow from concurrent programming: a Mailbox Queue works as a round-robin load balancer (or FIFO queue in ACK mode), and Concurrency Slots act as a semaphore guarding parallel access. Orgtree is a desktop visual orchestration system supporting Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Muse and OpenRouter, open source on GitHub.
