3 flight-booking rules my AI agent checks that I'd never do by hand
Efistoffeles · reddit · 2026-10-23
The author lets a Claude-based agent find and book flights using three rules: price multi-stop trips both as one ticket and separate tickets (Bucharest–Bogotá on Turkish: €1,634 vs €2,381); flag suspiciously cheap listings instead of booking them (a Skyscanner-redirected site quoted $1,796 NY–Mumbai vs Etihad's $2,530, then charged $2,517 at checkout); and verify the actual checkout total since card discounts shown in search results often don't apply. He notes you need connectors, not browser scraping, and shares his setup.
