heldrakon · reddit · 2026-10-22
A Reddit user shared a workaround to bring back Google Assistant on Android: go to system settings, find the Google app under Apps, and uninstall its updates — you're back to Assistant instead of Gemini. Remember to disable auto-updates for the app in the Play Store, or it will revert to Gemini.
