Lamin goes GA: open-source data platform packs a dozen bio-AI tools into one Python package
ycombinator · x · 2026-10-23
Lamin, the YC-backed open-source data management tool for scaling AI workflows in life sciences, is now generally available. It consolidates data lineage, a format-agnostic lakehouse, ELN/LIMS/ontologies, versioning and branching, data catalog, agents/notebooks, feature store and MLOps — capabilities that previously took a dozen tools — into a Python package over Postgres and storage, plus an optional GitHub-like web platform. Users at Johnson & Johnson, Genentech and Altos Labs endorse it; backed by Dimension Capital and YC.
