Indian cert body SCK flagged: certificate not found in its own registry, no email or landline, just 2 mobile numbers
kingslyj · x · 2026-10-22
kingslyj stress-tested SCK Certifications Private Limited, the body that certified listed company eMudhra, and found major red flags:
- The QR code on the certificate leads to the body's own verification site, but entering certificate number SCK/05/EML/23/91/2406 with the company name returns "Not Found — no matching certificate was found"
- The head office has no email address and no landline — only 2 mobile numbers; all "international locations" (Uzbekistan, Peru, Romania, Poland) list neither phone nor email
- Yet this entity certifies IT systems and processes for a listed MNC operating in 35+ countries
The findings were cc'd to Indian CERT and government ministry accounts, questioning the validity of the certification chain.
