Synopsys adopts CUDA-X for EDA after Siemens cuLITHO, expanding Nvidia's GPU reach into chip design

Following Siemens' adoption of Nvidia cuLITHO, Synopsys has also endorsed Nvidia's CUDA-X libraries for EDA. For computational lithography, imec is using CUDA-X libraries with the S-Litho modeling tool. Nvidia is extending its CUDA ecosystem from AI workloads into the core of chip design and manufacturing toolchains.
