Dev urges compute marketplaces as SF Compute shows $4.29/gpu/hr resale prices
arthurcolle · x · 2026-10-22
Developer arthurcolle calls on Hot Aisle to launch bandwidth and compute marketplaces, arguing Amazon's reported $200B GPU stockpiling is an aberration, and points to SF Compute as the model to emulate.
SF Compute lets teams reserve GPU capacity and sublease idle compute, with a showcased case of $3.00/gpu/hr reserved pricing realizing $4.29/gpu/hr (43% premium) on resale. It also offers programmable elastic InfiniBand partitions, a CLI for buying and reselling capacity, plus VMs, bare metal, and managed Slurm.
