Claude Code 2.1.307 drops Haiku 3.5, system prompt tokens jump 7.5% in 18 hours
ClaudeCodeLog · x · 2026-10-22
Claude Code tracker details the 2.1.307 update (released just 18 hours after 2.1.306):
- Model changes: claude-haiku-3-5 removed; new claude-lsremote-T added
- New env vars: several for SSH daemon and self-hosted runner proxying (e.g. SELFHOSTEDRUNNERAGENTPROXYURL)
- System prompt: the tool-hook guidance was cleaned up to end at "treat hook output as user feedback", removing ambiguity in how Claude interprets hook output
- Prompt size: +4,281 prompt tokens (+7.5%); system share rose from 51% to 57.5% while tools dropped to 42.5%; bundle grew 483 kB
The changes point to rapid iteration on remote/self-hosted execution alongside continued system prompt growth.
