A Talent500 survey of 2,000 tech, product and data professionals in India (Talent500 is part of ANSR, which has set up 200+ GCCs in India) shows global capability centers are becoming the preferred next career move.
Key findings:
- 71% want hands-on AI upskilling, but only 29% say their employers provide it
- 87% say clearly defined career paths are very important; 79% would abandon an application or decline an offer if growth opportunities are unclear
- Only 46% describe their career paths as very clear — just 36% among GCC employees vs 50% in IT services and 51% at startups
Career clarity could become a differentiator for GCCs competing for experienced tech talent.
