OpenAI's GPT 6.1 models are coming to Google Cloud and Antigravity
Ars Technica AI · rss · 2026-10-22
Per Ars Technica, OpenAI and Google have struck a deal bringing the full GPT 6.1 lineup — Astra, Sol, and Luna — to Google Cloud's Model Garden in the coming weeks and into Google's agent-powered coding tool Antigravity. Google says it will be the only major cloud provider offering all three leading closed LLMs (GPT, Gemini, Claude). OpenAI stresses Microsoft remains its primary cloud partner; Google's system can dynamically shift workloads across LLMs based on performance, latency and efficiency, with Astra the priciest to run.
