Langfuse now supports custom System One decision models including SubQ Snap
ryanallred · x · 2026-10-22
SubQ Snap is now available in Langfuse (model ID: subq-snap-preview). Per the changelog, Langfuse's TypeSafe System One adapter now accepts a custom base URL, so decision-model evaluators run on any compatible API, not just Jev.
Example uses:
- Route traces by topic or failure mode with a Choice question on a cheaper model
- Flag out-of-scope requests or PII with a Yes/No guardrail
- Grade answer completeness on a Score rubric with a self-hosted open-weights model
Connectable models include Subquadratic SubQ Snap and the open-weights Strands Decider (serve via strands-decider serve).
