Open-source sample builds durable audit trails into AI phone workflows via an API

The author open-sourced a Python sample whose core idea is treating the audit trail as part of the workflow API rather than reconstructing it later from app logs. Built on Telnyx Missions: create a durable objective, start runs, submit ordered execution plans, track each step pending→completion/failure, record typed events, link the AI assistant, and render timestamped reports from server state. Demo mode walks the full ledger with simulation labels; live mode creates assistants, places calls, monitors status and records failures. Design rule: record what the platform reports, never what the worker assumes.
