YC-backed Armorer Labs launches to find and fix security issues in AI agents for regulated industries
ycombinator · x · 2026-10-22
- Armorer Labs, backed by Y Combinator, launched as an AI agent security platform aimed at regulated industries like finance.
- The product works in four steps: map each agent's access to data, tools and systems and expose weak points; assess real-world risks such as poisoned files, fake invoices, tampered tools and stolen keys; auto-generate fixes validated against real workflows with engineer approval; and block unsafe actions at runtime via Armorer Guard.
- Unlike tools that stop at findings, Armorer verifies that fixes actually close the risk. Demos are open to security and engineering leads.
