Nyte launches as an MIT-licensed 'agent core' SDK for building agents across terminal, desktop, and cloud
henloitsjoyce · x · 2026-10-22
Developer d2ac released Nyte (MIT), arguing that everyone building their own agent harness is going the wrong way — Nyte is meant to be a foundational "agent core" to extend instead. It's a TypeScript SDK with multi-model support (Claude Opus, Qwen3), deployable as a terminal CLI (macOS/Linux), an Apple Silicon Mac desktop app, or the base for your own client over JSON/SSE, with mobile support coming. Current release v0.0.19, site nyte.sh.
