Dev says LLM-generated SQL makes dbt hard to justify for single warehouses

A developer writes that while he still loves dbt, it's now hard to motivate using it: he can simply compile SQL from natural language with LLMs and use native incremental logic with zero compile time. dbt remains somewhat useful for multi-engine setups, but not so much for a single warehouse.
