Hands-on: Cloudflare's new System One model Clairic beats 5 LLMs on speed in 1,200-doc test
MicahBerkley · x · 2026-10-21
Cloudflare recently released Clairic, a new "System One" model paradigm for extracting, computing, estimating, and predicting values from unstructured inputs — without generating text like an LLM. The author benchmarked it against 5 LLMs on 503 real customer order emails and 711 receipt photos:
- Verdict: fastest and most consistent model tested
- Weakness: unreliable when a value is missing or must be inferred — with a receipt total covered, every LLM summed the items, while Clairic reported the tax line as the total
