QAMCP: open-source CLI to test MCP servers and spot hidden prompt injections
abhiramreddykalluru · reddit · 2026-10-21
The author open-sourced QAMCP, a free CLI for testing MCP servers from the terminal after changes. It validates tool definitions, tests inputs and error handling, and scans tool descriptions for hidden prompt-injection instructions. Demoed against Context7's public MCP endpoint; try it with npx qamcp-cli <url>, code on GitHub, feedback welcome.
