echudhra.com: one-line curl/node/docker commands to test if your tools trust the leaked eMudhra keys
SuB8u · x · 2026-10-21
- A parody site, echudhra.com, offers one-liner tests to check whether your browser, terminal, or containers still trust the leaked eMudhra root keys (one of the leaked keys was the #4 CA).
- How it works: hit a real test endpoint run by the researcher; if your device trusts the leaked cert the connection succeeds (exposed, ASCII "Chud"), otherwise it fails (safe, "Chad").
- Ready-to-run commands:
- curl -fsS https://dv-g3b-aaa-emudhra.we-have-a-problem.com ...
- a node -e one-liner to test Node's trust store
- docker run --rm alpine sh -c ... to test a container's trust store
- Author's point: browsers got patched within hours, but CLIs, scripts, and containers often didn't—also tell your local agent to update CA certificates now.
