Red Hat and Purdue unveil VEX-Bench for LLM software supply chain vulnerability triage
TerryTangYuan · x · 2026-10-21
Red Hat researchers, in collaboration with Purdue, developed VEX-Bench, a benchmark for assessing LLMs in software supply chain vulnerability triage. Traditional tools often generate up to 70% false alerts, and the benchmark measures whether LLMs can triage vulnerabilities more accurately. The work will be presented at EMNLP 2026.
