TRL, Hugging Face's RL training library, now officially supports AMD GPUs. Contributor abdennacer0 spent weeks running every TRL trainer on MI300X and fixing what broke across TRL, Transformers, Hub kernels, AITER, and bitsandbytes — a notable boost for LLM RL training on the ROCm ecosystem.
