NVIDIA expands Agent Toolkit with Knowledge Foundation, Kumo models and OpenShell runtime
NVIDIAAI · x · 2026-10-21
At GTC Berlin, NVIDIA announced an expansion of its open-source Agent Toolkit to help enterprises ground agents in company data while keeping them controllable:
- Agent Knowledge Foundation: bundles CUDA-X libraries (cuDF, cuGraph, cuML, cuOpt, cuVS) plus a new Auto-Ontology library that turns raw company data into business concepts like customers, products and orders; works without moving data or changing governance controls.
- Open models: Nemotron Retriever and the new Kumo Structured family (Tabular, Relational, Time Series, Forecast) for retrieval, prediction and decision support.
- OpenShell: a secure agent runtime giving teams control over what agents can access and do.
- Also includes NemoClaw secure blueprints and tools like NeMo Relay and NeMo Compass.
