Cloudflare urges Containers users to audit certificate trust stores, offers egress interception fix
Kyrannio · x · 2026-10-21
Cloudflare issued an advisory for Containers (including Sandboxes) customers: review container images and application dependencies for affected certificate trust stores and update deployed images accordingly.
As an alternative mitigation, customers can enable HTTPS egress interception to route outbound HTTPS traffic through Cloudflare, moving remote-server certificate validation from the application to Cloudflare-managed infrastructure so Cloudflare's trust-store mitigations protect the connection. Containers with this already enabled are protected.
