NVIDIA DSX cuts AI factory cooling water to near zero and power use by 30%

NVIDIA announced at GTC Berlin that European AI infrastructure leaders are adopting its DSX reference designs for efficiency:
- Closed-loop liquid cooling and dry coolers enable near-zero facility cooling water; a 2GW deployment could save 54 million liters a day — the daily use of 180,000 households.
- DSX MaxLPS software generates the same tokens with up to 30% less power, with CoreWeave, Firmus, Google Cloud, IREN, Lambda, Nebius, Nscale and Sharon AI planning adoption; DSX Flex turns AI factories into flexible grid loads.
- NVIDIA also launched SimReady Central on Hugging Face for digital-twin assets and open-sourced DSX OS for infrastructure lifecycle automation, backed by an ecosystem including ABB, Siemens Energy and GE Vernova.
