KRAFTON (the PUBG parent and Korea's leading AI team) announced its Raon team is entering the open-weight scene with Raon-1 mini, the company's first model, trained from scratch. It claims parity with leading models in its size class while running faster and using less memory, released under the Apache 2.0 license.
Kangwook Lee, the team lead, says KRAFTON is aiming straight for the frontier with world-class foundation models, with more to come.
