Why coding made OpenAI and Anthropic lead — and why robotics could hand Google the crown
haider1 · x · 2026-10-21
AI researcher Haider argues that the 2026 explosion in coding is a big reason OpenAI and Anthropic have pulled so far ahead — both went all-in on coding.
He thinks that once robotics takes off, Google's broader approach may really pay off, unless better coding models end up accelerating robotics even faster. He admits it's still too early to say.
