Dev powers a Neural-MMO's AI brains with 12 AMD BC-250 mining cards, 3 nodes live
redfoxkiller · reddit · 2026-10-21
An indie developer building a neural network-driven MMO is assembling a 12-card AMD BC-250 mining GPU cluster to run the game's AI agents. Three machines are fully populated and working (photo shows fanless blade cards crammed into a server chassis), with nine to go. He credits ghost image cloning for making deployment across nodes painless. Another example of cheap ex-crypto GPUs pressed into AI inference duty.
