ego(lite) launched ego-browser, a browser built for AI agents doing web automation, including pages behind logins. Its own benchmarks claim leads in speed, success rate, and cost: average 398s per task (47%–63% faster than chrome-devtools-cli, playwright-cli and others), 93.5% success rate, and $1.64 average cost (vs up to $4.95). Install the ego-browser skill once and any coding agent—Claude Code, Codex, Cursor—can drive it directly, with data kept local. The author demoed Claude Code running research and product comparisons in the background, returning clean tables without babysitting. Free on Mac and Windows.
