- dotey spotted a Claude Code Desktop update: suggested task cards now offer a model picker — click Options to choose among Opus 5.5, Fable 5.1, Sonnet 5.5, Haiku 5.5, with High/Auto effort levels.
- Previously he avoided starting new tasks because they'd default to the pricey Fable model; now each task can run on a cheaper model.
