Holon-S1 predicts gene activity and biomarkers from routine pathology slides
altryne · x · 2026-10-21
Cancer patients with the same diagnosis often have very different tumor biology, and molecular testing to reveal those differences is slow and expensive. Holon-S1 is a new platform that predicts genes and biomarkers from routine pathology slides. In a controlled comparison it beat two other models at predicting spatial gene activity, and it has identified potentially novel biomarkers.
