Stanford professor releases 2026 AI Venture Ranking of top 50 VC firms

Stanford GSB professor Ilya Strebulaev released the 2026 Strebulaev-Jackson AI Venture Ranking, scoring the top 50 VC firms solely on investments in US-based AI companies (cutoff Aug 31, 2026). In the overall top-100 ranking, nearly a quarter of firms' highest-scoring investment was a frontier-AI or AI-infrastructure company. Full rankings and data are paywalled; Menlo Ventures' Venky Ganesan celebrated making the list.
