ICLR 2027 Blogposts Track opens call for papers, submissions due Dec 1, 2026

ICLR has reopened its Blogposts Track, inviting blog posts that discuss previously published work, with abstracts and full submissions due December 1, 2026 (AOE), notifications March 1, 2027, and camera-ready merges March 15. Submissions go through OpenReview with revisions via GitHub pull requests.
The call frames the track as a response to ML's reproducibility, reviewing, and submission crises, arguing overloaded reviewing incentivizes overselling results. Blogs offer a flexible venue for open discussion of insights and limitations, but lack academic recognition—so the track gives accepted posts poster presentations to make scientific blogging a credited contribution.
