Patrick Kidger: RN's buried lede is regulatory, tox and GMP manufacturing
PatrickKidger · x · 2026-10-21
In an ongoing thread, JAX author Patrick Kidger argues the most overlooked part of RN's bio-AI announcement is regulatory, tox and GMP manufacturing. He notes the regulatory landscape is shifting in real time — e.g. in Australia some therapies can seek approval via an HREC instead of the TGA (the Australian FDA), with far less paperwork and time, and statistically no impact on safety. He asks RN to publish a follow-up on how this was actually done.
